Established by the Africa Inland Mission (AIM) in the early 20th century, Githumu Boys High School began as a pivotal mission station in the heart of Kandara, Murang’a County, serving as a center for both spiritual and academic enlightenment. Over the decades, the institution evolved from an intermediate missionary school into a premier secondary boarding school, gaining a reputation for molding disciplined and visionary young men. Set against the serene, rolling hills of Central Kenya, the school has transitioned into a modern academic powerhouse that balances a rigorous KCSE curriculum with vibrant success in the creative arts and drama.
